INSTALLATION GUIDE

Acoustic panels

Our acoustic panels can be mounted in two ways depending on your support and the load to be fixed.

Applications

Direct mounting on wall or ceiling
01

Direct mounting on wall or ceiling

Our acoustic panels can be easily fixed directly to an existing wall or ceiling if you have, for example, OSB, plaster or concrete walls. Use color-matched mounting screws and screw the felt between the battens for an invisible fixing. If you prefer, you can also fix the acoustic panels with a fast-drying mounting adhesive.

Mounted on battens
02

Mounted on battens

If you wish to mount heavier objects on the acoustic panels, we recommend first mounting horizontal battens on the wall, and then attaching the acoustic panels to these battens. Use 45 mm battens for this purpose. The distance between battens should be 600 mm (5 battens in total). Each acoustic panel is attached to the battens using 15-18 color-matched screws, depending on the length.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions. For anything else, contact us.

Which mortar for installation on Plasterboard?

Use Cambois CB-200 glue or equivalent MAPEI Kerabond for plaster application. No pure cement — it dries out the substrate.

How many square meters per day for a single installer?

Standard adhesive installation: 6 to 10 m²/day depending on size and complexity. Adhesive installation: 12 to 18 m²/day. Beyond that, plan for a two-person team.

What if the surface isn't perfectly flat?

Beyond 2 mm/meter, self-leveling compound must be applied before installation. The 1.5 mm veneer does not compensate for surface imperfections.

How to cut a panel cleanly?

Diamond blade for stone, jigsaw with a fine blade for wood. Always work from the decorative side to limit chipping.

Can it be installed in a wet area?

Yes, for stone veneers. However, some veneers cannot withstand direct contact with water (shower, kitchen, etc.). Check the product sheet for each item.
