Do wooden acoustic panels soundproof a room?
No. Acoustic panels mainly reduce reverberation inside a room. They make voices clearer and the space more comfortable, but they do not fully block sound from one room to another. For true soundproofing, the wall or ceiling construction must also be treated.
How well do wooden acoustic panels absorb sound?
The acoustic result depends on the panel structure, installation method and whether insulation is installed behind the panels. On battens with mineral wool or another suitable insulation, acoustic performance is generally much higher than when panels are glued directly to a hard wall.

Yes, they can be used in humid interior rooms such as bathrooms, provided they are not exposed to direct water. Cambois panels use a moisture-resistant MDF core suitable for interior humidity up to approximately 65% relative humidity. Good ventilation is always recommended.

They can usually be fixed with screws, adhesive or a suitable mounting system, depending on the wall or ceiling substrate. For the best acoustic result, installation on battens with insulation behind the panels is recommended.
Can wooden acoustic panels be cut to size?
Yes. They can be cut with suitable woodworking tools and a fine-toothed blade. Always measure carefully, cut from the correct side according to the installation guide, and protect the veneer surface during cutting.
